Focus:

Using portfolios to assess and deepen student learning

Methods:

60-minute interactive workshops with overview, practical examples, and comprehensive digital resources

Description:

Based on Zubizaretta’s The Learning Portfolio (2008), these workshops introduced faculty to portfolio pedagogy emphasizing reflection, documentation of learning, and mentoring. Faculty received teaching packets, student assignment templates, and adaptable resources.

Outcomes:

Faculty integrated portfolio-based learning into courses, strengthening student reflection and assessment.
